Notes: Prunella vulgaris ssp lanceolata (Lance Self Heal) has a long history as serving as a medicinal herb, but is also beautiful in the garden and attractive to pollinators. It does spread some via roots, making it an amazing ground cover in a pollinator garden or adding to a bee lawn, however, needs moist conditions. Noted as deer-resistant by UVM.
